EUR Guest Commentary: Kanye West Meets Jewish Power

by Tingba Muhammad, and the NOI Research Group

*Black entertainer Kanye West has now joined the elite ranks of some of our most powerful and prestigious Black freedom fighters, such as Martin Luther King, Marcus Mosiah Garvey, Malcolm X, Bishop Desmond Tutu, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan, and even our late great freedom fighter Nelson Mandela.

RELATED STORY: Louis Farrakhan Agrees With Kanye Wests Opinion About Jewish People

For theylike Kanyewere all labeled anti-Semites by the Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith. Not that they are, or ever were, anti-Semites, but they all have advocated setting Blacks on an economic course for their survival and advancement, a route to true power that is exactly the opposite of the dead-end path Jewish financiers of negro leadership have demanded that we go downand this deeply troubles Jewish watchdogs like Abraham Foxman and all the other liberal Jewish groups.

Kanye West took great umbrage at the ADL insult and at his Chicago concert last week he was defiant, telling the crowd that he spoke with The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and that he wasnt apologizing for anything, saying to the contrary that he will be standing up to his accusers even stronger.

And in that turn up vain we will clearly show the political power wielded by Jews is the result, the consequence, the product of their immense economic base and superstructurenot the other way around. Bro. Kanyes recent powerful statements about his frustrating foray into the clothing and apparel business show the workings of a man who has chosen to be more than an entertainer: he is wisely seeking to use the wealth he has generated to build a truly lasting economic foundation. As The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews, Vol. 2, shows, Jewish dominance in the fields of business, trade, commerce, and finance started with Black laborfrom the Southern cottonfield investments of the Rothschilds, to the Alabama slave-dealing of the Lehman Brothers, to the Jewish needle trade sweatshops of New York. Kanye Wests attempt to penetrate that history and those business connections is a formidable venture and worthy of full Black support. It is also why Abraham Foxman and the Jews have targeted him so directly. They are protecting their market, not exposing anti-Semites. Make no mistake about it.

In his latest ploy Foxman says he decries Wests comment in a radio interview on November 26, when, explaining the massive resistance to Pres. Barack Obama, the Hip Hop star said, Black people dont have the same level of connections as Jewish people. Foxman feigned outrage: There it goes again, the age-old canard that Jews are all-powerful and control the levers of power in government. By all standards of honesty and truth Wests comment could not have been more benign. Indeed, Bro. Kanyes comment is so understated that it might almost be considered nave.Let us look carefully at this contentious issue of Jewish power, but not through Black eyes, or Kanyes eyes, or even Minister Farrakhans eyes. Let us look solely and exclusively through Jewish eyes.

Foxmans own organization, the Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith (ADL), once had a president named Simon Wolf, who in 1926 wrote with evident pride:

We all know that the first bankers of the worldRothschildsare Jews; we know they control not only the money market, but also the political destiny of the European world.[M]ercantile enterprises owe a vast debt to the Jew. You need but look at the streets of the principal cities of the world on Jewish holidays, and you will at once see that trade is in mourning; the busy hum is hushed; everything is languid.

Minister Louis Farrakhan Defends Kanye West

Kanye West has found a supporter in Minister Louis Farrakhan. During an interview with Power 105 earlier this month, ‘Ye was accused of anti-semitism after discussing black people’s connections versus those of Jewish people, addressing criticism of President Barack Obama’s difficulty in executing policies.

Man, let me tell you something about George Bush and oil money and Obama and no money. People want to say Obama cant make these moves or hes not executing. Thats because he aint got those connectionsBlack people dont have the same level of connections as Jewish people. Black people dont have the same connections as oil people, Kanye said.

Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman then slammed the Yeezus rapper for his comments. There it goes again, the age-old canard that Jews are all-powerful and control the levers of power in government. As a celebrity with a wide following, Kanye West should know better, Foxman said. We hope that he will take responsibility for his words, understand why they are so offensive, and apologize to those he has offended.

Now, Farrakhan has defended Mr. West. You are telling Kanye West he should know better. He does know better, and thats why he said what he said, Farrakhan said during his weekly Time and What Must Be Done Series. Kanye West, dont bow to the pressure to apologize to anybody. You said nothing wrong.

Watch his full testimony above.

NRA official invokes Holocaust in N.J. gun safety debate

Nation

December 17, 2013

JTA

Scott Bach

A National Rifle Association board member in criticizing a New Jersey mayor for supporting gun safety proposals noted the mayors grandparents were Holocaust survivors.

Scott Bach, also the executive director of the Association of New Jersey Rifle and Pistol Clubs, in an interview on the NRA News website rapped a proposal by Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop to survey vendors bidding to supply firearms to local law enforcement about how they handle gun safety issues.

His grandparents were Holocaust survivors according to Wikipedia. So youve got to wonder why he is not getting it, Bach said.

Bach pointed out that the mayor, who worked for Goldman Sachs prior to 9/11, joined the Marines after the 2001 terror attacks.

Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, in a statement issued Monday assailed using the Holocaust analogy.

No matter how strong ones objections are to a policy or how committed an organization is to its mission, invoking the Holocaust to score political points is offensive and has no place in civil discourse, Foxman said.

It is especially disturbing that in the debate over gun control in America, Holocaust analogies and references to Nazi Germany flow so freely off the lips of critics of gun control. There is absolutely no comparison of the issue of gun control in the U.S. to the genocidal actions of the Nazi regime.

The Academic Studies Association voted Sunday by a 66 percent majority to boycott Israeli academic and cultural institutions over their treatment of Palestinians, drawing a strong backlash.

The American Association of University Professors saidit stands in opposition to academic boycotts as a matter of principle which “runs counter to the commitment to the free exchange of ideas. “Targeting Israeli institutions solely because they are in Israel the only democratic country in the Middle East where scholarship and debate are encouraged and flourish is manifestly unjust,” Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman said in a statement. “We commend those members of the ASA who boldly spoke out and voted against this shameful resolution. We further applaud the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) for reiterating its opposition to academic boycotts.

New York Rep. Eliot Engel, the most senior Democratic member on the House Foreign Relations Committee, said: “I simply fail to see how cutting off ties to Israeli universities furthers the interests of peace and coexistence,” hesaid.”Ironically, many within the Israeli academic community are strong and vocal proponents of peace — and are simply being boycotted due to their nationality and academic affiliation.” “I would note that Israel is the first country to be boycotted by this academic organization, which has chosen to stay silent on the slaughter in Syria, the continued imprisonment of democracy activists in Iran, or the scores of other dictatorships around the world,” the congressman said. “Yet once again we see this unfair double standard applied to Israel. One member ASA member repliled: “You have to start somewhere.”

Italy Is Slave to ‘Jewish Bankers,’ Says Populist Leader

Forconi Movement Organized Large Anti-Government Protests By JTA

Published December 15, 2013.

A populist protest leaders claim that Italy is slave to Jewish bankers has drawn condemnation.

Andrea Zunino, spokesman for the Forconi, or Pitchforks Movement, which spearheaded widespread anti-government and anti-austerity protests in Italy last week, made the comment in an interview with La Repubblica newspaper Friday.

We want the government to resign, he told the interviewer. We want the sovereignty of Italy, which today is slave to the bankers, like the Rothschilds. It is curious that five or six of the richest people in the world are Jews, but this is something I need to investigate.

Zunino is powered by the most violent and sinister anti-Semitic stereotypes, Renzo Gattegna, president of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, said in a statement. In doing so, Gattegna said, he offends not only the memory of Holocaust victims but above all the intelligence, democratic conscience, and maturity of the Italian people whose instances he wants to represent, clearly inadequately, in streets and piazzas across the country.

Under the loose umbrella of the Forconi Movement, also known as the December 9 movement, thousands of angry Italians took to the streets last week to protest the political system; Prime Minister Enrico Lettas government; the European Union; austerity; and globalization. The protests brought together widely diverging groups from right and left, including truck drivers, farmers, shop-owners, and militant football fan groups. Condemnation of Forconis statement also came from outside the Jewish world. According to Il Messaggero newspaper, Foad Aodi, president of the Community of the Arab World in Italy organization, called Zuninos words delusional, dangerous and manipulative regarding religions and the Jewish religion.

Center-right parliament member Elena Centemero said we cannot support those who, to express their dissent, choose violent shortcuts, lawlessness or recourse to anachronistic and unfounded accusations and stereotypes such as those against people of the Jewish religion.

The Anti-Defamation League also condemned the remarks. These appalling comments display a deep-seated anti-Semitic hatred which never belongs in politics or anywhere in Italian society. Whatever grievances the Italian protest movement may have, anti-Semitism is simply unacceptable, ADL National Director Abraham Foxman said in a statement.

Foxman: Perceived U.S. Weakness Endangering Israel, American Jews

Manipulating Public Perceptions

Foxman: Perceived U.S. Weakness Endangering Israel, American Jews In uncommon speech, ADL chairman cites doubt whether U.S. can be counted on. ‘America seems desperate to avoid confrontation with Iran,’ he says.

By Chemi Shalev November 01, 2013 “Information Clearing House – “Haaretz” — In a rare outpouring of concern and criticism about American leadership and resolve in the global arena, Anti-Defamation League National Director Abraham Foxman said that the world increasingly sees a weak and retreating United States that cannot be counted on.

Speaking at the ADLs Centennial conference in New York, Foxman expressed apprehension that the U.S. is undergoing a deep and dangerous change that would endanger both Israels security and the wellbeing of the American Jewish community. It causes me to lose sleep, he said.

Foxman noted that Americas previous bout of isolationism before World War II enabled the greatest disaster ever to the Jewish people. But now, he says, we are seeing growing indications of a desire for America to retreat from the world once again.

He lambasted Congressional resistance to U.S. President Barack Obamas call for a military strike against Syrias chemical weapons that resulted in U.S. acceptance of the Russian compromise offer. A huge sigh of relief was heard throughout the nation, but what was also heard was questioning around the world whether America could be counted on.

And while he didnt rebuke Obama by name, the Administrations attitude towards talks with Iran was also a cause for concern, he said. America seems desperate to avoid a confrontation with Iran and the Iranians, aware of that, are playing it to a fare-thee-well.

Foxman spoke about three pillars that had empowered American Jewry and allowed it to stand up for Israeli and for beleaguered Jewish communities around the world: Israel, the community itself, and Americas global leadership following World War II.

But while Israel is flourishing, and American Jews remain a strong force notwithstanding the recent findings of the Pew Survey it is the third pillar, that of America and its role in the world, that causes me to lose some sleep.

Foxman said that Americas unsatisfactory involvement in the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq coupled with the financial crisis at home have generated broader opposition to American military involvement overseas. But instead of standing up for whats right, he added, Members of Congress seemed merely to reflect the wishes of their constituencies.
