Francis E. Wright, 85

PHOENIX, NY Francis E. Wright, 85, of Phoenix, passed away on Thursday October 2, 2014, at St. Josephs Hospital Health Center, Syracuse.

He was born in Downsville, NY, (Deleware County), on October 4, 1928, to his late parents, Rita (Snyder) and Harold Wright.

After high school, Francis served in the U. S. Army, 1950-53 stateside and in Germany.

He was employed by General Electric Co., Syracuse, retiring in 1990.

He was a member of the First Congregational, U.C.C. church in Phoenix and the G. E. Century Club Survivors.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 47 years, Norma G. (Niles) Wright, on August 19, 1994; his son, Jack L. Wright Sr., on August 26, 2012.

Survivors include his daughter-in-law, Theresa M. Darling-Wright of Fulton; four grandchildren, Mary Jane Wright, Jack L. Wright Jr., Jeremy Wright Sr. all of Fulton and Nathanael Darling and his wife, Christine, of Phoenix; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Emma, Jeremy Jr. and Natalie; one sister, Fannie W. and brother-in-law, Ziggy Feurherm of Fort Plain, NY.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.

Services will be on Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard H. Scheffler, Pastor Emeritus, officiating.

John M. Cimbulich

John M. Cimbulich, 49, of Medina, took his final flight to Heaven on Monday, September 29, 2014. John was born January 31, 1965 in Medina and has been a lifelong resident of Medina County.

He was a 1983 graduate of Buckeye High School. John has been employed with the Highland School System for the past 25 years in the maintenance department.

He was a great Harley Davidson cycle enthusiast. John was presently working on obtaining his small plane pilots license.

He enjoyed vacationing with family and friends, fishing, golfing and loved animals. John greatest treasure and love was goofing around with his niece and nephews.

John is survived by his parents, Jerry and Mary Cimbulich; sisters, Jeanette (Doc Alex) ORoark of Elyria, Jennifer Munn of Springfield, Monique (Bob) Hendrix of Medina; brother, Jeff Cimbulich of Brooklyn; nephews, Nathanael Hendrix and Jared ORoark; niece, Madison ORoark; and aunt, Mary (Rick) Vereb of Wadsworth.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Urban and Louise Nilges; and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Martha Cimbulich.

Funeral Mass will be 10 A.M., Friday, October 3, 2014 at St. Martin of Tours, 1800 Station Rd., Valley City. Reverend Thomas Dunphy will officiate. Calling hours are Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at the Bauer Funeral Home, 2089 Columbia Rd., Valley City. Burial will be at St. Martin Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, The family suggests memorials be made to charity of choice in memory of John.

Under the 'fair use' rule of copyright law, an author may make limited use of another author's work without asking permission.
