Ron Paul is closely tied to the late Ludwig von Mises through his ideas and the institute which bears his name. Ludwig von Mises was in turn closely tied to the Jewish supremacist and organizer of World Government, Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi. Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi promoted the idea of a European Union and a pan-American Union. Rothschild and Warburg sponsored him. Coudenhove-Kalergi also stated that the Jews are a superior race which should lead the World, but that all the other races should be mixed, which according to him would result in the manifestation of the worst traits and the disappearance of the best traits in the Gentile races. Zionist British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli had made similar claims.

Coudenhove-Kalergi wanted the different “races” to mix in intermarriage so that the children of these unions would be inferior to their parents and would lose any sense of cultural and ethnic heritage. He wanted to then substitute a new culture of obedience and servitude among this new degenerated “race”, subservience to a ruling Jewish elite. He would have the Jews remain nobly segregated and preserve them as rulers over all others. It is a fact that many of Coudenhove-Kalergi’s policies have been instituted. Ron Paul is fronting for these von Misian forces.

Eustace Mullins wrote of Ludwig von Mises and Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi,

Melchior Palyi, in ‘The Twilight of Gold’, reveals the power plays of the World Order in international finance, when he quotes from the Diary of Governor Emile Moreau of the Bank of France. Palyi says, ‘In October, 1926, Governor Emile Moreau of the Bank of France sent his closest collaborator to London to explore the intentions of Montagu Norman, Governor of the Bank of England. Pierre Quesnay, then general manager of the Bank of France 1926-30, and Bank for International Settlements 1930-37, brought back a report which was recorded by Moreau : ‘Quesnay also gives me interesting views about the ambitions of Montagu Norman and the group of financiers who surround him: Sir Otto Niemeyer, Sir Arthur Salter, Sir Henry Strakosch, Sir Robert Kindersley they are striving to make London the great international financial centre. But those close to Norman state this is not his objective … he wants more than anything else to witness the setting up of links between the various banks of issue … The economic and financial organization of the world appears to the Governor of the Bank of England to be the major task of the Twentieth Century. In his view politicians and political institutions are in no fit state to direct with the necessary competence and continuity this task of organization which he would like to see undertaken by central banks, independent at once of governments and of private finance. Hence his campaign in favour of completely autonomous central banks, dominating their own financial markets and deriving their power from common agreement among themselves. They would succeed in taking out of the political realm those problems which are essential for the development and prosperity of the national financial security, distribution of credit, movement of prices. They would thus prevent internal political struggles from harming the wealth and the economic advancement of nations.’

In short, Norman wished to see the imposition of the World Order over the financial affairs of the nations. It was this agreement among the central banks, rather than the front organization, the League of Nations, which became their final instrument of power. Crucial to these arrangements was the monetarist school, the Austrian School of Economics, an outgrowth of the Pan-Europe movement. Margit Herzfeld notes in her biography of Ludwig von Mises that he participated in Count Coudenhove-Kalergi’s Pan Europe movement in 1943. He had been brought to the U.S. in 1940 by a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation of $2500 a year to work at the Natl. Bureau of Economic Research, which grant was renewed in 1943. Von Mises’ pupils, Arthur Burns and Milton Friedman now expound the monetarist theory through a network of supersecret ‘conservative’ think tanks led by the Mont Pelerin Society. Paul wants to create private gold banks, which obviously will be international and become the centralized entirely private Jewish controlled World bank Paul’s bosses seek to institute as a mechanism of World control. This new Jewish monopoly on banking and gold will give World Jewry even greater control over money and it will be entirely detached from any country’s government. This is the ultimate privatization of money creation and money supply which International Jewry has always sought. Even the system described in Carroll Quigley’s book does not give World Jewry the power they will obtain under Ron Paul’s system, which extant system has already done so much harm to the Third World and the American dollar,

Ron Paul was heavily promoted by the Hollywood Zionist Jew Aaron Russo, who claimed a close personal friendship with the Rockefeller family and who didn’t want us to talk about “Jewish bankers”. Paul’s ties to leading Zionists and his promotion by gold merchants and prominent figures in the “911 truth movement” who shy away from the proven Zionist Jewish and Israeli connection to 911, has been documented by others.

The book, launched on May 6 this year, sprang to prominence with an article promoting the work published in Time magazine, written by Wade, titled What Science Says About Race and Genetics.

(Wade is, by the way, a former science editor of the New York Times who retired two years ago, and there is no truth to the internet-based rumor that he was sacked after writing his latest book).

Jewish supremacism is the belief, and promotion of the belief, that the Jews are superior to all others and should rightfully have control over non-Jews in all matters. The religion of Talmudic Judaism itself claims that the Jews are a race “chosen” by God ahead of the rest of humanity. Jewish supremacists believe that they are morally, intellectually, religuously and genetically superior. The purpose of this belief is to have an excuse to commit crimes such as the black slave trade, the Red Holocaust and Zionism. These crimes are used to establish social, political, historical and/or industrial dominance by Jews. The supremacist views are often “supported” by fallacious scientific research of which the outcome is predetermined so that the supremacist views are “confirmed”.

Jewish supremacism is rooted in ethnocentrism and a desire for hegemony and power, and has frequently resulted in violence against non-Jews. Different forms of Jewish supremacism have different conceptions of who is considered Jew, and not all Jewish supremacist organizations agree on who is their greatest enemy. Jewish supremacism distinguishes itself from other forms of supremacism, as Jewish supremacist groups can be found in all countries with a Jewish minority or majority population, whereas this cannot be said of other forms of supremacism: for example not all, countries with a black minority also have black supremacist groups. Unfortunately, in most countries even militant Jewish supremacist organizations are not watched closely by law enforcement officials, but instead often subsidized by the governments under influence of the Zionist lobby.

Jewish-Supremacism has taken many forms all representing various Jewish survival strategies. It can be argued that many of these strategies that have emerged have been instinctual rather than conspiratorial. Some have been subtle, and others openly genocidal.

What all share is a desire by powerful Jews to 1.) Get gentiles to fight on their behalf, 2.) Weaken gentiles, 3.) Strengthen the relative position of Jews. The end-goal is said to be setting up a world “safe for Jews”, in which other nations are too weakened to oppose them, e.g. by miscegenation.

The early Bolshevik leadership in Russia was mostly Jewish. Many communist movements worldwide were heavily Jewish, including the CPUSA. The Red Holocaust in Europe, when tens of millions of Christians were killed in the name of Communism, was an ultraviolent instance of Jewish supremacism. (See also: Ilya Ehrenburg).

Israel maintains supremacy in the Levant, and maintains an ethnostate through the use of terror. It considers non-Jews to be second-class citizens and bans intermarriage.

Although “Zionism” was originally a movement to create a Jewish state for the first time since the breakup of Khazaria, the term “Zionism” and “Zionist” today refer to Jewish supremacists and aggressive Jewish nationalists generally, especially those living outside Israel. Zionism (Jewish nationalism) is the most prominent or “visible” example of Jewish-Supremacism in the 20th century. It is often overlapping with Neoconservatism.

By the 1980s, a collection of ex-Trotskyist Jews formed the Neoconservative movement, which gained control of U.S. foreign policy by the 1990s and 2000s. The neoconservatives’ single aim is safeguarding Jewish interests while weakening European interests, particularly they aim to support the geopolitical interests of the Zionist State in Palestine. They typically use WASPs in badly fitted suits such as John Hagee and a whole band of Evangelical Zionists to act as their footsoldiers. By the 2000s, some major news media sectors, such as the Murdoch-owned Fox News network supported the neo-con wing of Jewish supremacy (while MSNBC and others support the cultural Marxist wing of Jewish supremacy).

Opposition to Jewish Supremacism has been widespread among Europeans throughout history and in contemporary times, some Mohammedans and Africans. Opponents are today called “anti-Semites” by Jewish supremacist media sources.

Community groups reject Brandis race hate reform

An overwhelming majority of ethnic and community groups oppose the Abbott governments proposed changes to the Racial Discrimination Act.

As pressure builds on Attorney-General George Brandis to justify his crusade to throw out the so-called ”Bolt law” by watering down protections against racial vilification, an analysis of public submissions to the review of his draft bill reveals at least 60 groups have lined up against the changes.

They include the Law Council of Australia, the Arab Council of Australia, the Chinese Australian Forum, the ACTU, the Lebanese Muslim Association and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry.

A number of groups representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders oppose it and on Wednesday, the head of the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council, Warren Mundine, warned that the debate over race hate laws could derail the push for constitutional recognition of indigenous Australians.

Just four submissions made public so far support the idea of repealing Section 18C and D of the act.

One of those is the the Adelaide Institute, established by Holocaust denier Fredrick Toben.

Fairfax Media revealed Mr Toben has strongly backed the Abbott government’s plans in a personal submission that welcomed the proposal as a challenge to ”Jewish supremacism” in Australia. He described the current act as a ”flawed law, which only benefits Jewish-Zionist-Israeli interests” and effectively a ”Holocaust protection law”.

Senator Brandis this week told Parliament that he had received ”some thousands” of submissions but declined to answer a question from the opposition whether a single major community group had backed changes.

Kansas hate crime didnt emerge from a vacuum

When you look at the image of Frazier Glenn Cross, AKA Glenn Miller, the shooter who cold-bloodedly murdered three Christians in a bloody eve-of-Passover spree at two Jewish community buildings in Overland Park, Kan., what do you see?

Ill tell you what I see. The dead-eyed stare, the pasty, blotched skin and lousy teeth, the unkempt facial hair this is exactly the kind of face we associate with anti-Semitic and racist thuggery. In the 20th century, Cross could have been a concentration camp guard, wearing his ignorant, vulgar sneer as he shoved his Jewish victims into a gas chamber, screaming barely literate, anti-Semitic epithets along the way.

As we mourn the dead, and agonize over the fact that security at Jewish institutions becomes more vulnerable when Jewish holidays draw near, we comfort ourselves by saying that such exemplary specimens of the Master Race as Cross are a rarity. Neo-Nazis are at the fringe of the fringe, most of them dont have the guts to go beyond harassing their enemies on social networks, and the odd individuals who do engage in violence unfortunately have easy access to guns. What this means is that Jews and other minorities have to occasionally shoulder atrocities like the one in Kansas. It absolutely does not mean that America is an anti-Semitic country, or that such attacks are a prelude to greater persecution.

One might add that the wider communitys reaction to the Overland Park murders showcased a humble, hard-working, tolerant America at its best. We suffer and we pull through just as we pulled through the shootings at Jewish Community Centers in Los Angeles in 1999 and Seattle in 2006. Just as French Jews pulled through 2012 murders by an Islamist of a rabbi and three beautiful children at a Jewish school in Toulouse. Just as Jews in Israel overcame the enormous pain that accompanied the Palestinian bombing of a Passover seder, which claimed the lives of 30 people, at a Netanya hotel in 2002.

But something is missing. By overly focusing on punks like Frazier Cross, theres a danger that we ignore those elements in our broader culture that sustain and inspire them.

Look at some of the posts that Cross left on various neo-Nazi and white supremacist bulletin boards, and youll see what I mean. Amidst his hate-drenched rants against Jews, he warmly recommended an article by Jew journalist Max Blumenthal, whom he complimented for exposing Israels attemptto buy the presidential election for the neo-con, war-mongering republican establishment the k*kes simply do not trust a lame-duck black president with the name Hussein. (Incidentally, its not unheard of for Nazis to recommend certain Jewish authors Hitler himself reportedly described Otto Weininger, a Viennese Jewish philosopher who lambasted the modern Jewish era, as a rare example of a Jew he admired.)

Its not an accident that todays Nazis are attracted to left-wing, viscerally anti-Zionist writers like Blumenthal. Both share the view that the so-called Israel Lobby drove the U.S. into foreign wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both believe that politicians kowtow to Jewish interests because they fear the costs of not doing so. And both are convinced that the type of Jewish supremacism practiced in Israel makes a nonsense of American Jewish appeals for tolerance and understanding.

When I first read extensive sections of the Talmud, even with the Jewish published translations in front of me, I did not want to believe they were authentic.

I approached another Jewish acquaintance, Mark Cohen, and gave him a page of these quotations. He seemed equally upset by them. By the look on his face, I knew instantly that he was completely unfamiliar (and unsympathetic) with this Talmudic writ. He offered to ask his rabbi about their authenticity. The rabbi confirmed that the quotations were genuine but claimed that those views were not currently held by most Jews of today.

I willingly believed this, and I still believe it is true of the average Jew. At the same time, however, knowing that such passages existed helped me to understand why there has been so much anti-Jewish sentiment over the centuries.

Powerful and enigmatic, intelligent and creative, idealistic on the one hand and materialistic on the other, the Jewish people have always fascinated me. Few teenagers growing up in the middle 1960s, as I did, could have avoided acquiring a positive image of Israel and the Jewish people. Because of my years of Sunday school, my perception of the Jews was even more idealized than most. I was 11 years old when I saw the classic movie, Exodus.80 It made such an enduring impression on me that for a few months its beautiful theme song became my favorite, one that I would often hum or sing.

I remember an episode of embarrassment when my sister and her teenage friends stumbled upon me loudly singing the stirring words, This land is mine, God gave this land to me. Heroic Israel inspired me. It was as if the Israelites of the Bible had transported themselves to modern times to live out their Old Testament adventures again. The televised image of Israel strongly reinforced my acceptance of the idea that Gentile intolerance had caused every historical conflict with Jews.

After I had discovered the extensive Jewish leadership of early Communism, which I had hoped was an uncharacteristic blight on Jewish history, I began to ask questions one dared not ask in polite society about this interesting people and religion. I had read about the many persecutions of the Jews throughout history, including their great suffering now called the Holocaust (in the mid-60s that term had not yet been appropriated by the Jews to apply exclusively to their sufferings during the Second World War holocaust merely means, as it always has, large scale destruction, especially by fire).

Mark Twain wrote, Every nation hates each other, but they all hate the Jew. Somehow I found the impertinence to askwhy. In a historical context, almost every major nation of Europe had expelled them in the past, some repeatedly, after renewed waves of Jewish immigration. What was it, I wondered, about the Jewish people,that inspired such hatred?

Normally, when we study historical conflicts between nations or peoples, we do it dispassionately. For instance, in examining any war from long ago, we list as objectively as possible, the grievances and rationales of the opposing sides. When studying the War for Southern Independence, every American school child learns the Southern arguments for secession and the Northern arguments for forced union. In contrast, when studying the many historical disputes between the Jewish people and others, only the Jewish point of view is acceptable.

In early 1995, Congressman Newt Gingrich, Speaker of the House, fired his newly appointed congressional librarian, Christina Jeffrey.81

He fired her for having once suggested that history students, when studying the Holocaust, should also study the German point of view on the subject. She was fired in spite of her high standing in her profession and notwithstanding her long and cozy relations with the powerful Jewish ADL (Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith). The very suggestion that there could be another side to any issue affecting Jews is decried as anti-Semitic. In both the entertainment and news media, the only permissible opinion is that Jews are always innocent victims persecuted by intolerant Christians and other anti-Semites. Maybe they were always innocent, and all the other peoples of the world were always unjust, I thought. But they werent so innocent in the Russian Revolution. I realized I could not evaluate the issue fairly until I had read about both sides.

Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi promoted the idea of a European Union and a pan-American Union. Rothschild and Warburg sponsored him. Coudenhove-Kalergi also stated that the Jews are a superior race which should lead the World, but that all the other races should be mixed, which according to him would result in the manifestation of the worst traits and the disappearance of the best traits in the Gentile races. Zionist British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli had made similar claims. Coudenhove-Kalergi wanted the different “races” to mix in intermarriage so that the children of these unions would be inferior to their parents and would lose any sense of cultural and ethnic heritage. He wanted to then substitute a new culture of obedience and servitude among this new degenerated “race”, subservience to a ruling Jewish elite. He would have the Jews remain nobly segregated and preserve them as rulers over all others. It is a fact that many of Coudenhove-Kalergi’s policies have been instituted. Eustace Mullins wrote of Ludwig von Mises and Richard Coudenhove-Kalergi, Melchior Palyi, in ‘The Twilight of Gold’, reveals the power plays of the World Order in international finance, when he quotes from the Diary of Governor Emile Moreau of the Bank of France. Palyi says, ‘In October, 1926, Governor Emile Moreau of the Bank of France sent his closest collaborator to London to explore the intentions of Montagu Norman, Governor of the Bank of England. Pierre Quesnay, then general manager of the Bank of France 1926-30, and Bank for International Settlements 1930-37, brought back a report which was recorded by Moreau : ‘Quesnay also gives me interesting views about the ambitions of Montagu Norman and the group of financiers who surround him: Sir Otto Niemeyer, Sir Arthur Salter, Sir Henry Strakosch, Sir Robert Kindersley they are striving to make London the great international financial centre. But those close to Norman state this is not his objective … he wants more than anything else to witness the setting up of links between the various banks of issue … The economic and financial organization of the world appears to the Governor of the Bank of England to be the major task of the Twentieth Century. They would thus prevent internal political struggles from harming the wealth and the economic advancement of nations.’ In short, Norman wished to see the imposition of the World Order over the financial affairs of the nations. It was this agreement among the central banks, rather than the front organization, the League of Nations, which became their final instrument of power. Crucial to these arrangements was the monetarist school, the Austrian School of Economics, an outgrowth of the Pan-Europe movement. Margit Herzfeld notes in her biography of Ludwig von Mises that he participated in Count Coudenhove-Kalergi’s Pan Europe movement in 1943. He had been brought to the U.S. in 1940 by a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation of $2500 a year to work at the Natl. Bureau of Economic Research, which grant was renewed in 1943. Von Mises’ pupils, Arthur Burns and Milton Friedman now expound the monetarist theory through a network of supersecret ‘conservative’ think tanks led by the Mont Pelerin Society. From Metapedia Jewish supremacism is the belief, and promotion of the belief, that the Jews are superior to all others and should rightfully have control over non-Jews in all matters. The religion of Talmudic Judaism itself claims that the Jews are a race “chosen” by God ahead of the rest of humanity. Jewish supremacists believe that they are morally, intellectually, religuously and genetically superior. The purpose of this belief is to have an excuse to commit crimes such as the black slave trade, the Red Holocaust and Zionism. These crimes are used to establish social, political, historical and/or industrial dominance by Jews. The supremacist views are often “supported” by fallacious scientific research of which the outcome is predetermined so that the supremacist views are “confirmed”. Jewish supremacism is rooted in ethnocentrism and a desire for hegemony and power, and has frequently resulted in violence against non-Jews. Different forms of Jewish supremacism have different conceptions of who is considered Jew, and not all Jewish supremacist organizations agree on who is their greatest enemy. Jewish supremacism distinguishes itself from other forms of supremacism, as Jewish supremacist groups can be found in all countries with a Jewish minority or majority population, whereas this cannot be said of other forms of supremacism: for example not all, countries with a black minority also have black supremacist groups. Unfortunately, in most countries even militant Jewish supremacist organizations are not watched closely by law enforcement officials, but instead often subsidized by the governments under influence of the Zionist lobby. Israel maintains supremacy in the Levant, and maintains an ethnostate through the use of terror. It considers non-Jews to be second-class citizens and bans intermarriage. Zionism (Jewish nationalism) is the most prominent or “visible” example of Jewish-Supremacism in the 20th century. It is often overlapping with Neoconservatism. By the 1980s, a collection of ex-Trotskyist Jews formed the Neoconservative movement, which gained control of U.S. foreign policy by the 1990s and 2000s. The neoconservatives’ single aim is safeguarding Jewish interests while weakening European interests, particularly they aim to support the geopolitical interests of the Zionist State in Palestine. They typically use WASPs in badly fitted suits such as John Hagee and a whole band of Evangelical Zionists to act as their footsoldiers. Community groups reject Brandis race hate reform

They include the Law Council of Australia, the Arab Council of Australia, the Chinese Australian Forum, the ACTU, the Lebanese Muslim Association and the Executive Council of Australian Jewry. A number of groups representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders oppose it and on Wednesday, the head of the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council, Warren Mundine, warned that the debate over race hate laws could derail the push for constitutional recognition of indigenous Australians. Advertisement Just four submissions made public so far support the idea of repealing Section 18C and D of the act. One of those is the the Adelaide Institute, established by Holocaust denier Fredrick Toben. Fairfax Media revealed Mr Toben has strongly backed the Abbott government’s plans in a personal submission that welcomed the proposal as a challenge to ”Jewish supremacism” in Australia. He described the current act as a ”flawed law, which only benefits Jewish-Zionist-Israeli interests” and effectively a ”Holocaust protection law”. Senator Brandis this week told Parliament that he had received ”some thousands” of submissions but declined to answer a question from the opposition whether a single major community group had backed changes.

Kansas hate crime didnt emerge from a vacuum

When you look at the image of Frazier Glenn Cross, AKA Glenn Miller, the shooter who cold-bloodedly murdered three Christians in a bloody eve-of-Passover spree at two Jewish community buildings in Overland Park, Kan., what do you see? Ill tell you what I see. The dead-eyed stare, the pasty, blotched skin and lousy teeth, the unkempt facial hair this is exactly the kind of face we associate with anti-Semitic and racist thuggery. In the 20th century, Cross could have been a concentration camp guard, wearing his ignorant, vulgar sneer as he shoved his Jewish victims into a gas chamber, screaming barely literate, anti-Semitic epithets along the way. As we mourn the dead, and agonize over the fact that security at Jewish institutions becomes more vulnerable when Jewish holidays draw near, we comfort ourselves by saying that such exemplary specimens of the Master Race as Cross are a rarity. Neo-Nazis are at the fringe of the fringe, most of them dont have the guts to go beyond harassing their enemies on social networks, and the odd individuals who do engage in violence unfortunately have easy access to guns. What this means is that Jews and other minorities have to occasionally shoulder atrocities like the one in Kansas. It absolutely does not mean that America is an anti-Semitic country, or that such attacks are a prelude to greater persecution. One might add that the wider communitys reaction to the Overland Park murders showcased a humble, hard-working, tolerant America at its best. We suffer and we pull through just as we pulled through the shootings at Jewish Community Centers in Los Angeles in 1999 and Seattle in 2006. Just as French Jews pulled through 2012 murders by an Islamist of a rabbi and three beautiful children at a Jewish school in Toulouse. Just as Jews in Israel overcame the enormous pain that accompanied the Palestinian bombing of a Passover seder, which claimed the lives of 30 people, at a Netanya hotel in 2002. But something is missing. By overly focusing on punks like Frazier Cross, theres a danger that we ignore those elements in our broader culture that sustain and inspire them. Look at some of the posts that Cross left on various neo-Nazi and white supremacist bulletin boards, and youll see what I mean. Amidst his hate-drenched rants against Jews, he warmly recommended an article by Jew journalist Max Blumenthal, whom he complimented for exposing Israels attemptto buy the presidential election for the neo-con, war-mongering republican establishment the k*kes simply do not trust a lame-duck black president with the name Hussein. (Incidentally, its not unheard of for Nazis to recommend certain Jewish authors Hitler himself reportedly described Otto Weininger, a Viennese Jewish philosopher who lambasted the modern Jewish era, as a rare example of a Jew he admired.) Its not an accident that todays Nazis are attracted to left-wing, viscerally anti-Zionist writers like Blumenthal. Both share the view that the so-called Israel Lobby drove the U.S. into foreign wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Both believe that politicians kowtow to Jewish interests because they fear the costs of not doing so. And both are convinced that the type of Jewish supremacism practiced in Israel makes a nonsense of American Jewish appeals for tolerance and understanding.

The rabbi confirmed that the quotations were genuine but claimed that those views were not currently held by most Jews of today. I willingly believed this, and I still believe it is true of the average Jew. At the same time, however, knowing that such passages existed helped me to understand why there has been so much anti-Jewish sentiment over the centuries. Powerful and enigmatic, intelligent and creative, idealistic on the one hand and materialistic on the other, the Jewish people have always fascinated me. Few teenagers growing up in the middle 1960s, as I did, could have avoided acquiring a positive image of Israel and the Jewish people. Because of my years of Sunday school, my perception of the Jews was even more idealized than most. I was 11 years old when I saw the classic movie, Exodus.80 It made such an enduring impression on me that for a few months its beautiful theme song became my favorite, one that I would often hum or sing. I remember an episode of embarrassment when my sister and her teenage friends stumbled upon me loudly singing the stirring words, This land is mine, God gave this land to me. Heroic Israel inspired me. It was as if the Israelites of the Bible had transported themselves to modern times to live out their Old Testament adventures again. The televised image of Israel strongly reinforced my acceptance of the idea that Gentile intolerance had caused every historical conflict with Jews. After I had discovered the extensive Jewish leadership of early Communism, which I had hoped was an uncharacteristic blight on Jewish history, I began to ask questions one dared not ask in polite society about this interesting people and religion. I had read about the many persecutions of the Jews throughout history, including their great suffering now called the Holocaust (in the mid-60s that term had not yet been appropriated by the Jews to apply exclusively to their sufferings during the Second World War holocaust merely means, as it always has, large scale destruction, especially by fire). Mark Twain wrote, Every nation hates each other, but they all hate the Jew. Somehow I found the impertinence to askwhy. In a historical context, almost every major nation of Europe had expelled them in the past, some repeatedly, after renewed waves of Jewish immigration. What was it, I wondered, about the Jewish people,that inspired such hatred? Normally, when we study historical conflicts between nations or peoples, we do it dispassionately. For instance, in examining any war from long ago, we list as objectively as possible, the grievances and rationales of the opposing sides. When studying the War for Southern Independence, every American school child learns the Southern arguments for secession and the Northern arguments for forced union. In contrast, when studying the many historical disputes between the Jewish people and others, only the Jewish point of view is acceptable. In early 1995, Congressman Newt Gingrich, Speaker of the House, fired his newly appointed congressional librarian, Christina Jeffrey.81 He fired her for having once suggested that history students, when studying the Holocaust, should also study the German point of view on the subject. She was fired in spite of her high standing in her profession and notwithstanding her long and cozy relations with the powerful Jewish ADL (Anti-Defamation League of Bnai Brith). The very suggestion that there could be another side to any issue affecting Jews is decried as anti-Semitic. In both the entertainment and news media, the only permissible opinion is that Jews are always innocent victims persecuted by intolerant Christians and other anti-Semites. Maybe they were always innocent, and all the other peoples of the world were always unjust, I thought. But they werent so innocent in the Russian Revolution. I realized I could not evaluate the issue fairly until I had read about both sides.
