Orthodox Jews Find Pick in Santorum
Candidate’s Family and Conservatives Values Strike a Chord getty images Family Man: Even if they dont share his religion, Orthodox voters appreciate the fact that Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum wears his faith on his sleeve. Killer: Jews my target
The livery driver whose two-gun attack on a group of Hasidic students on the Brooklyn Bridge shocked the city 18 years ago has finally admitted that he targeted them because they were Jewish, The Post has learned. Rashid Baz was convicted in 1995 of murdering Yeshiva student Ari Halberstam, 16, and trying to kill more than a dozen others in a van with a hail of bullets he fired on a Manhattan approach to the bridge on March 1, 1994. Baz initially told cops he opened fire because of a traffic dispute.

France's Jews trapped between neighbours and politics
Its hard to be a Jew. Michle Teboul tells me this with a self-effacing smile, because she knows that hers is not the face of hardship: Her clothing business is doing well, her children have good lives and shes happy living in the dense cultural mosaic that is Marseilles. But the truth of her words is beyond doubt this week.

Eastday-Play tells how a city sheltered the Jews
THE time: World War II. The place: Shanghai, where more than 30,000 Jews were sheltered by the Chinese during the Japanese occupation – a saga now dramatized in a play that aims to highlight a little-known episode in history. The directors of “North Bank Suzhou Creek,” which premiered in Shanghai on Thursday prior to heading to New York later this year, said the story of what happened in wartime Shanghai needed to be told.

Fears Of Anti-Semitism – More And More French Jews Emigrating To Israel
According to the Israeli Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, about 2,000 French Jews are currently resettling in Israel each year, and a total of 100,000 have already made the move. The Israeli government is very happy to receive the new arrivals, who are generally well-off and highly educated. In 2004, then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon’s open call to French Jews to emigrate triggered outrage in Paris and led to a cooling of relations between the two countries

Pro-Jesus Jews paid Santorum
In 2010 Rick Santorum was paid to speak to a controversial religious group unpopular with some Jewish leaders because it seeks to convince Jews to accept Jesus. The Messianic Jewish Alliance of America paid Santorum $6,000 to speak at its 2010 annual conference, according to a filing released Wednesday showing a total of nearly $95,000 in speaking fees that Santorum previously failed to disclose. The alliance supports Messianic Judaism, which embraces Jewish heritage and customs but holds the fundamental Christian belief that Jesus is the son of God.

Ken Livingstone Denies Saying 'Rich Jews' Will Not Vote Labour
Ken Livingstone has denied saying Jews would not vote Labour because they are rich, as he sought to limit the damage from a race row sparked by his alleged comments. Prominent members of London’s Jewish community have sent a letter to Labour leader Ed Miliband expressing their concerns about his party’s candidate for London mayor. The letter reportedly claimed that during a meeting with Labour-supporting Jews on 1 March , Livingstone said he did not expect the Jewish community to vote Labour “as votes for the left are inversely proportional to wealth levels, and suggested that as the Jewish community is rich we simply wouldn’t vote for him”.

Austrian right leader shrugs off "new Jews" backlash
VIENNA (Reuters) – Appearing to make light of the Holocaust would be the kiss of death for most European politicians, but for Austria’s Heinz-Christian Strache it has meant little more than a temporary dip in his popularity. The 42-year-old leader of the Freedom Party has bounced back in opinion polls after a barrage of criticism in January for reportedly likening attacks on him and his backers to treatment of the Jews in Nazi Germany. Speaking to Reuters from his office overlooking parliament, the dark-tanned former dental technician denounced the whole affair as a political plot against him and said he was confident heading into an election next year, when nearly one in three voters could reward his party for its opposition to euro zone bailouts and a tough stance on immigration

Anti-Semitism At Very High Levels In Europe: ADL
In the wake of the massacre of four Jews in Toulouse in the south of France, the Anti-Defamation Leaguereleased a report Tuesday indicating that anti-Semitism is at “disturbingly high levels” across Europe. According to a poll taken in 10 European nations, the ADL found that many non-Jews adhere to classic anti-Semitic canards of Jews having too much political influence, too much financial power, maintaining too much loyalty to Israel and of talking too much about the Nazi Holocaust

The Work Of The Son
JOHN 5:17-30 Jesus answered [the Jews], “My Father is at work until now, so I am at work.” For this reason the Jews tried all the more to kill Him, because He not only broke the sabbath but He also called God His own father, making Himself equal to God. Jesus answered and said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, a son cannot do anything on His own, but only what He sees His father doing; for what He does, His son will do also.
