CNBC’s Harwood on Trump’s State of Mind at G7 Summit: ‘He Did Not Look Well’

Saturday on MSNBC’s “AM Joy,” CNBC editor at large John Harwood expressed his concern for President Donald Trump’s state of mind while he was speaking at the G7 Summit in Charlevoix, Quebec. According to Harwood, Trump sounded like “he was making stuff up” and “did not look well.” “I’ll be honest, as a citizen,” said Harwood, “I’m concerned about the President’s state of mind. He did not look well to me in that press conference. He was not speaking logically or rationally. It sounded as if he was making stuff up, saying, you know, China told me nobody’s ever talked to us or saying, ‘Oh, you know, I talked to Justin Trudeau,’ and he can’t believe he was getting away with so much trade stuff. I don’t think those things are true. There was something about his affect which was oddly kind of languid from him. I don’t know what it means, but he did not look well to me.” Follow Trent Baker on Twitter @MagnifiTrent

Giuliani Warns Mueller Not to Pull ‘a Comey’ and ‘Interfere’ with Midterm Elections

On Sunday’s broadcast of New York AM 970 radio’s “The Cats Roundtable” hosted by John Catsimatidis, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who is now serving as legal representation for President Donald Trump, warned Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller to not interfere in this year upcoming midterm elections. Giuliani criticized the investigation, saying what initiated the probe only came about because of a “group of angry Democrats.” “It should’ve resulted in no investigation,” Giuliani said. “I have known for some time that rank-and-file FBI agents are extremely embarrassed about the conduct of Jim Comey. I think the report of Horowitz, the IG, will confirm that Comey acted improperly with regard to the Hillary Clinton investigation, as well as the Trump investigation. And I know from a lot of the agents in the New York office, not from them directly, but from retired agents, that they really believe [Comey] was the worst director in the history of the FBI — certainly the most dishonest. So, to try to premise a case on this by Mueller is really unfair. It only comes about because of a group of angry Democrats that are a part of this investigation.” The former New York City mayor

SPLC Targets ROK For Leftist Violence By Smearing It As A …

It looks like the Southern Poverty Law Center, one of Americas premier ethnic shakedown organizations, is running low on donations again. This week, they announced the new edition of their hate group list, a record of supposed white supremacist, far-right terrorist organizations operating in the United States. Most notably,Return Of Kings has been added to the list as a male supremacy organization, alongside mens rights groupA Voice For Men:

Also, for the first time, the SPLC added two male supremacy groups to the hate group list: A Voice for Men, based in Houston, and Return of Kings, based in Washington, D.C. The vilification of women by these groups makes them no different than other groups that demean entire populations, such as the LGBT community, Muslims or Jews, based on their inherent characteristics.

This isnt the first time that ROK publisher Rooshhas been targeted by the SPLC: in 2012, he was named in one of the organizations Intelligence Reports, alongsideA Voice for Men and my old siteIn Mala Fide.Roosh later cited the experience as the final push that moved him to the dissident right.

Its clear that the SPLC is going after AVFM and ROK in an attempt to scare liberal old biddies into giving them more money, because their attack was sloppy and poorly-handled. For example, the SPLC claims that ROK is headquartered in Washington D.C., even though its a website with no physical address or full-time employees.

They put a web site with no office on a map pic.twitter.com/H8hTw6iUee

Roosh (@rooshv) February 21, 2018

Most hilariously, the SPLCs dossier on alt right figure Richard Spencer confused him withRobertSpencer, the founder ofJihad Watch, suggesting they outsourced the research to a stupid intern.

Having said this, the SPLCs attack cant be handwaved away. Much like the Anti-Defamation League, the SPLCs purpose in naming organizations as hate groups or individuals as extremists is designed to incite violence against them. Ever since the election of Donald Trump, the left in America has become increasingly violent, and the SPLCs list is a dog whistle to antifa and other groups with the intent of hurting or possibly killing Roosh and other targeted individuals.

The SPLC, ADL, and other related organizations like to masquerade as legitimate news organizations who are merely calling attention to violent, anti-government extremists, but this is as far from the truth as possible. In actuality, the SPLC functions as an intelligence-gathering operation for antifa and other violent leftists, compiling dossiers on chosen targets with the implicit message of, Its okay to hurt, maim, or kill these people: theyre Nazis/misogynists/homophobes, after all.

Hate group lists compiled by the SPLC have been used by leftist criminals in the past to identify targets for assassination. For example, in 2013, a left-winger committed a mass shooting against the Family Research Council after seeing them named by the SPLC as an anti-gay group. More recently, weve seen leftists openly going after Republican politicians and public figures, such as the attempted assassination of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise by Bernie Sanders supporter James Hodgkinson.

This is not the first time that figures in the dissident right have been targeted in such a way. Last summer, the ADL released a hit list of alt right and alt lite figures such as Mike Cernovich, Richard Spencer, and myself, with the purpose of inciting violence against us. In response, Cernovich and several other alt lite figures launched the #ADLTerror hashtag on Twitter with the intent of bringing attention to the fact that their lives were now in danger.

Moreover, the SPLC cant even be consistent with the criteria it uses to evaluate hate groups. In response to their attack onA Voice For Men, ex-feminist filmmaker Cassie Jaye (creator of the documentaryThe Red Pill) revealed that in 2016, the SPLC told her that AVFM didnt fit their criteria for a group since they lacked an official group policy, due to the fact that AVFM was just a website and a forum. The SPLC has not yet revealed to Jaye why they changed their policy.

Men’s rights website A Voice For Men has now officially been listed a ‘Hate Group’ by the Southern Poverty Law Center. I have more questions than answers. Hopefully the SPLC will get back to me to clarify what has changed. https://t.co/EF2N4ycNDM pic.twitter.com/u30MW45DWs

Cassie Jaye (@Cassie_Jaye) February 22, 2018

Regardless, it is clear that the international left is ramping up for a broader attack on the dissident right. While the alt right was the focus of much of the lefts ire last year, the movement has been weakened due to systematic deplatforming, failed stunts such as Charlottesville, and personality conflicts between its major leaders. As a result, the left now feels confident in going after sites likeReturn Of Kings that had previously been out of the line of fire.

Dissident right and alternative media figures should prepare themselves for an onslaught from the globalists in the coming months. With the 2018 midterm elections coming up and the Russia investigation in the U.S. unraveling, the left is looking to strike out at anyone who challenges their power or narrative. As the SPLCs actions show, they are not above physically hurting or killing their enemies to achieve their goals.

SPLC and Raw Story Blame Patriots for the LAX Shooting

Kurt NimmoInfowars.comNovember 3, 2013

The Paul Ciancia story is custom-made for the likes of the SPLC, Raw Story, and the rest of government-loving cheerleaders who are constantly on the lookout for right-wing predators to pin their hysterical false left-right paradigm theories on.

On Saturday, the Southern Poverty Law Center put it all into focus for us. The LAX shooter was carrying a one-page manifesto that included references to the New World Order, the Federal Reserve and fiat currency, according to a knowledgeable source with ranking law enforcement contacts, writes Mark Potok.

Potok and the SPLC insinuate that Ciancia is a patriot ideologically connected to the those of us who believe the TSA is an unconstitutional Gestapo-like manifestation of an out of control police state. It will be more difficult to criticize the TSA now that one of their own has been gunned down by somebody who supposedly carried the banner of the patriot movement.

Raw Story naturally jumped on the bandwagon. It linked New World Order to a conspiracy-minded right and, more specifically, media figures Alex Jones and Glenn Beck. It stopped this short of directly blaming Jones and Beck for inciting a murder ostensibly committed by a mentally disturbed individual who threatened to commit suicide not long ago.

It was a sensible move by the rest of the liberal press to pass on this sort of fear-mongering for the moment, although a fair share of bloggers blamed Jones directly for Ciancias insanity.

SPLC Pulls Anti-Muslim Extremist List | The Daily Caller

The Southern Poverty Law Center has removed an online list of anti-Muslim extremists after British Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz threatened to sue the SPLC over his inclusion on the list.

The list is the fourth article in two months the SPLC has deleted over accuracy concerns.

The left-wing nonprofit first published the list in November 2016, offering it as a field guide to journalists.

In addition to Nawaz, the list included Somali-born activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who advocates against female genital mutilation, among other issues. Ali blasted the SPLCs deeply offensive smears in an August 2017op-ed for The New York Times.

The inclusion of Nawaz and Ali on the list sparked a backlash, including from establishment publications like The Atlantic, but the SPLC didnt remove the page until Awaz took legal action. The SPLC did not return The Daily Caller News Foundations request for comment by press time.

Awaz recently finished crowdfunding the initial legal fees for his lawsuit against the SPLC, which he first announced in June 2017. Nawaz retained the same law firm, Clare Locke LLP, that led the successful defamation lawsuit against Rolling Stone over the infamous UVA rape hoax.

The alleged extremists on its list the organization described as a field guide for journalists were responsible for inciting anti-Muslim hate crimes, the SPLC claimed.

This misinformation and hateful rhetoric have consequences. When huge numbers of Americans believe that a majority of Muslims are terrorists or terrorist sympathizers, it can hardly be a surprise that some percentage of them engage in hate crime attacks, the guide said. After all, they learned of the threat they believe Muslims pose from sources who were presented by the media as authoritative experts.

The list appears to have been removed within the last week. Internet archives show the page was still live as of April 13 but had been removed by April 18.

Nawaz first revealed the lists removal Wednesday while on comedian Joe Rogans podcast.

We have retained Clare Locke, they are writing to the Southern Poverty Law Center as we speak. I think they got wind of it the Southern Poverty Law Center and as of yesterday or the day before, theyve removed the entire list thats been up there for two years, Nawaz said.

WATCH:

The SPLC pulled three articlesin March that drew conspiratorial connections between American political figures and Russian influence operations within the United States.

Then, too, it took legal action for the SPLC to correct its inflammatory accusations. Max Blumenthal, son of Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal, threatened legal action over a March 9 article tying left-wingers like young Blumenthal to white nationalists and Russian propaganda efforts.

The SPLC apologized to Blumenthal and several other individuals named in the article and removed two other Russia-related articles by the same author.

They consistently labeled pedestrian conservative organizations as hate groups and have been directly tied to violence against conservatives in the past.

Floyd Lee Corkins, who opened fire at the Family Research Center (FRC) in 2012, chose the FRC for his act of violencebecause the SPLC listed them as a hate group,he said.

The SPLC removing the list wont be enough to fend off his lawsuit,Awaz said Thursday. Let me reiterate: Im only just getting started, he wrote on Twitter. My case is ongoing. I will see justice.

SPLC’s 2017 Financial Docs Show Big Mone | The Daily Caller

The Southern Poverty Law Center more than doubled its revenue in 2017, in the latest indication that the Trump era has been a financial boon for the left-wing nonprofit.

The SPLC reported $136 million in contributions and grants for the most recent fiscal year, more than doubling the $50.2 million the nonprofit reported the previous year. The SPLCended the year with $449 million in net assets, including a$432.7 million endowment.

The SPLCs financial portfolio includes off-shore investments in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands and Bermuda, the organizationsfinancial documents show.

The Capital Research Center, a conservative nonprofit, first noted the SPLCs impressive financial reports on Friday.

The centers senior vice president Matthew Vadum noted that it would appear the SPLC is cashing in by generating unjustified fear over a handful of fringe-right groups and by falsely portraying President Trump as a racist would-be fascist dictator.

The SPLC did not return The Daily Caller News Foundations request for comment.

The nonprofits massive financial endowment invites charges that it oversells the threats posed by Klansmen and neo-Nazis to keep donations flowing in from wealthy liberals, Ben Schreckinger noted in a Politico Magazine piece in June 2017.The SPLCs reported endowment increased $113.5 million since then, their most recent filings show.

Moreover, while the SPLC markets itself as a bulwark against white nationalists and the Klu Klux Klan, it has consistently mislabeled pedestrian conservative organizations as hate groups, and critics of political correctness as extremists. (RELATED:SPLC Says Army Bases Are Confederate Monuments That Need To Come Down)

The SPLC deleted four articles in the last two months over accuracy concerns.Three of the articles tied American journalists and political figures to Russian influence operations in the United States. The fourth article was a list of anti-Muslim extremists, which the SPLC deleted after British Muslim reformer Maajid Nawaz threatened legal action over his inclusion on the list.

The SPLC faced intense public criticism for including Nawaz and Somali-born activist Ayaan Hirsi Ali on the list, which accused them of inciting anti-Muslim hate crimes, but didnt correct the classification until after Nawaz hired an attorney and prepared to sue them.

The SPLC put Dr. Ben Carson now the secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on an extremist watch list in October 2014, citing statements Carson had made including: Marriage is between a man and a woman; its a well-established pillar of society.

Carson stayed on the list for four months. It wasnt until after a public backlash that the SPLC removed Carsons name and apologized in February 2015.

The SPLC has been tied to violence against conservatives in the past: Floyd Lee Corkins, who opened fire at the Family Research Center (FRC) in 2012, said he chose the FRC for his act of violencebecause the SPLC listed them as a hate group.

(RELATED:SPLC Says Army Bases Are Confederate Monuments That Need To Come Down) The SPLC deleted four articles in the last two months over accuracy concerns.Three of the articles tied American journalists and political figures to Russian influence operations in the United States. Fair Use Disclaimer

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

Under the 'fair use' rule of copyright law, an author may make limited use of another author's work without asking permission. Fair use is based on the belief that the public is entitled to freely use portions of copyrighted materials for purposes of commentary and criticism. The fair use privilege is perhaps the most significant limitation on a copyright owner's exclusive rights.

Fair use as described at 17 U.S.C. Section 107:

"Notwithstanding the provisions of section 106 and 106A, the fair use of a copyrighted work, including such use by reproduction in copies or phono-records or by any other means specified by that section, for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research, is not an infringement of copyright.

In determining whether the use made of a work in any particular case is a fair use the factors to be considered shall include:

  • (1) the purpose and character of the use, including whether such use is of a commercial nature or is for or nonprofit educational purposes,
  • (2) the nature of the copyrighted work,
  • (3) the amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the copyrighted work as a whole, and
  • (4) the effect of the use upon the potential market for or value of the copyrighted work."
